1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using KLYRBooks ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

KLYRBooks provides cloud-based accounting software designed for small businesses, including but not limited to:

  • Transaction recording and management
  • Financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, etc.)
  • Multi-user collaboration
  • Data export capabilities
  • Payment method tracking

3. User Account

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Be responsible for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription and Payment

Free Trial: We offer a 30-day free trial with full access to all features. No credit card is required for the trial period.

Paid Plans: After the trial, you may choose to subscribe to a paid plan. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.

Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on all paid plans. Contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund.

5. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the Service until the end of that period. No refunds will be provided for partial periods except as noted in our refund policy.

6. User Data

You retain all rights to your data. By using the Service, you grant us permission to:

  • Store and process your data to provide the Service
  • Use anonymized, aggregated data for analytics and service improvements
  • Back up your data for disaster recovery

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by KLYRBooks and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KLYRBooks shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
